He has built a career building innovative art market institutions that have bridged art as a cultural and capital asset. Evan launched and built Bank of America’s global Art Finance & Advisory Group where he oversaw a $10 billion art-secured lending business, collector advisory, and museum services. Prior to that he led Deloitte Consulting’s Art & Finance Group. More recently Evan founded a leading secondary-market gallery.

Evan regularly contributes to art market discussions on CNBC, PBS, podcasts and in documentaries such as The Lost Leonardo. He appears in outlets such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Art News, Artsy, Financial Times and others on topics bridging art and business.

Before joining the art market, Evan spent his early career as a U.S. Naval Intelligence Officer in Washington D.C. and the Middle East.

He took a Bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and Masters degrees from St. John’s College Annapolis and Oxford University in the U.K.

Mary Phelps has 20+ years of experience in collection management, curation, auction advisory, and appraisals. A foundational member of Gagosian Art Advisory, she advanced its commercial and advisory operations for nearly six years.

She previously served as Senior Curator at MacAndrews & Forbes Inc. and held roles at Sotheby’s and Christie’s specializing in valuations, consignments, and collection management.

Hannah Poss has 8+ years of experience in auction houses, galleries and museums. With prior experience at Sotheby’s New York and Christie’s New York, Hannah has direct experience executing auction consignments and private sale transactions, and is adept at cultivating client relationships and overseeing complex collection management.

A native of New York City, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and History from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

Sam Cameron has over a decade of experience in personal property appraisal and collections management for private collectors, family offices, foundations, auction houses, and institutions. She previously managed collections for the Gordon Parks and Meserve-Kunhardt Foundations, and oversaw appraisal research for ARTnews Top 200 and international corporate collections. Sam is an active member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).

Eitan has 7+ years of experience across strategy consulting and art advisory. After four years at EY-Parthenon advising private equity clients on investment diligence and growth strategy, he founded 8N Advisory, representing artists emerging from RISD, Yale, and the Royal College of Art. Eitan holds a B.A. in Economics and the History of Art and Architecture from Brown University and a Master in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. He is also a practicing painter represented by Casterline Goodman Gallery in Aspen, where he had a solo show, Chasing Straight Lines, in 2025.

Zeynep has 3+ years of experience at the world’s largest art fund, where she conducted art market analysis, valuation research and managed data pipelines to support the valuation and acquisition of blue-chip artworks.

She holds a B.A. in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics with a minor in History of Art and Architecture from UC Santa Barbara.

At Evan Beard & Co., Eliana advances the firm’s advisory work, guiding collectors through acquisitions and sales with discretion and care. Her approach is informed by formative time at the Studio Museum in Harlem and a Master’s in Contemporary English Literature and Art History from University College London.

Sophie Lubrano has 6+ years of experience in private equity and fixed income sales at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Jefferies. Alongside her finance career, she has developed a personal art practice as a painter, exhibiting internationally.

She is currently completing her MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she founded the school’s first visual arts club and serves as a Stanford Arbuckle Leadership Fellow. Most recently, she has been working in the Director’s Office at SFMOMA.
